Myeongjee Lee is a doctoral student under the supervision of Professor Marie Reilly and Professor Kamila Czene in the Department of Medical Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Karolinska Institutet, Sweden. The main objective of her doctoral project is to perform in-depth analyses of familial cancer, with regard to type, subtype and timing, to help inform counseling and guide screening protocols. In addition, these findings can contribute to an improved understanding of the genetic biology of cancer. One of specific objective is to investigate whether there is evidence of inheritance of age at onset of breast cancer, using twin models from the NorTwinCan collaboration.
